Chief Chanthunya observed that some national radios
do not reach out to other areas making the communities being denied access to
information believing that Balaka Community radio station will reach out to
every part of the district.
’’People will get messages in vernacular language
in so doing, developmental messages will reach out to every household in the
district,’’ said Chamthunya.
Chief Chanthunya was speaking this at a function
held on Tuesday accepting the role to be Patron of the upcoming Balaka
community radio station to hit the airwaves soon increasing the number of
community radio stations the country.
