Chairperson for Balaka District Council Steve Micheal Sauka Jr has donated two computers as his support to towards establishment of Balaka Community radio.
Sauka announced his support when he engaged with the radio's Operations and Communications Officer Francis Biliat.

Sauka said he has been touched by the radio project adding: "I am touched with the establishment of the radio which will put our district on a map.
This will also help people to get relevant information from different developmental stakeholders."
On his part, Biliat saluted the Chair for the donation.
"This support will increase work rate of our reporters in news room.
We have planed that in two months coming we should start testing our signal" Biliati said.
Malawi Communication Regularly Authority-MACR granted Balaka District with a Geographical Broadcasting License.
